Certificate
Once you successfully complete your course, you’ll receive an official certificate from MDEU. For our A1–C2 courses, we also recommend taking a DELE exam to showcase your Spanish skills to the world.
Our Spanish courses do more than teach a language — they change lives.
When you enroll, you’re not just learning from anyone — you’re learning from passionate, highly qualified teachers in Mexico, many of whom hold master’s degrees or PhDs in education, literature, or linguistics. Despite their expertise and years of classroom experience, many of these incredible women — often single mothers or heads of household — have faced job loss or unstable employment due to budget cuts in the public education system.
By taking a course with us, you’re helping provide a steady, dignified income to these talented professionals while empowering them to continue doing what they do best: teaching with heart, creativity, and deep cultural understanding. In return, you receive high-quality, personalized lessons from experienced educators who bring the Spanish language — and the people behind it — to life.
Travesía entre Líneas

The project offers a wide range of cultural and educational activities, including reading club coordination, personalized coaching for writing and book editing, private Spanish lessons, lectures, poetry workshops, creative writing sessions, and professional writing courses.

I am not sure what level I am or which course to take. What should I do?

I want to meet the teacher I am supporting
Our teachers are going through a challenging time, and we deeply appreciate your kindness and support.
We’d be happy to share more about how your course is making a difference. If you’d like, we can also ask the teacher if they’re comfortable coordinating a call at the end of your course — we understand that opening up about something so personal might be too much. If it’s possible, we’ll let you know.
Just drop us a message at lourdes.govea@travesiaentrelineas.com
Is my certificate recognized worldwide for A1–C2 levels?
Your certificate shows that you’ve successfully completed your course at a specific level (A1–C2).
For international recognition, the most widely accepted Spanish certifications are the DELE (from Instituto Cervantes) and SIELE (from CEPE UNAM).
Completing your course fully prepares you to take the DELE or SIELE exam at your level. We recommend considering the DELE exam for recognition in Europe, and either DELE or SIELE for Latin America. This way, you can proudly showcase your Spanish skills worldwide!
I’m a teacher looking for support — how can I join your program?
We’d love to hear from you! If you’re a teacher in Mexico looking for new opportunities, meaningful work, and a supportive community, our program was created for you. Simply reach out to us, and we’ll guide you through the requirements and next steps to join our network of empowered educators.
We’re a bilingual family, and I’d love for my children to keep up their Spanish. Do you offer courses for kids too?
Absolutely! We offer fun, engaging Spanish courses specially designed for children growing up in bilingual or international families. Our experienced teachers make learning Spanish a joyful experience — helping kids connect with the language and their cultural roots.
Do I need any previous experience to join the creative writing or poetry courses?
Not at all! You don’t need any theoretical background—just a love for writing and literature.
Could a course ever be cancelled?
We do our best to ensure every course runs as planned! However, in the rare case that a group course doesn’t reach the minimum number of participants, it may be cancelled. If that happens, you can choose either to join another course that fits your schedule or receive a full refund—no questions asked.
